THE OPPORTUNITY

As the Sales Director – Digital Experience & Content, you will lead a team of high-performing Enterprise Account Executives responsible for driving new logo acquisition, expanding strategic customer relationships and accelerating cloud revenue across the OpenText Information Management portfolio.

You will define and execute the regional business strategy to exceed software, cloud and subscription revenue objectives while fostering a high-performance culture built on coaching, collaboration and customer success.

As an experienced sales leader, you will inspire and develop your team to engage executive stakeholders, solve complex business challenges and position OpenText's AI-powered Information Management solutions to help organisations modernise content services, improve digital experiences and accelerate business transformation.


YOU ARE GREAT AT

  • Leading, inspiring and developing a high-performing enterprise software sales team that consistently exceeds software, cloud and subscription revenue targets.
  • Coaching Account Executives through complex enterprise sales cycles using value-based and outcome-driven selling methodologies.
  • Building trusted executive relationships with CIOs, CDOs, COOs, CMOs, Chief Digital Officers, Heads of Customer Experience and Information Management leaders.
  • Driving Digital Experience, Content Services and AI-powered Information Management opportunities across enterprise customers.
  • Developing regional business strategies supported by accurate forecasting, pipeline management and disciplined execution.
  • Supporting strategic customer engagements, executive negotiations and complex commercial discussions.
  • Partnering with Solution Consulting, Customer Success, Professional Services, Marketing, Product Management and Channel Partners to maximise customer value.
  • Recruiting, mentoring and retaining top enterprise sales talent.
  • Creating a culture of accountability, continuous development and high performance.
  • Leveraging sales analytics and business insights to optimise pipeline health, forecast accuracy and territory performance.
  • Championing cross-portfolio collaboration to deliver comprehensive Information Management solutions.

WHAT IT TAKES

  • Significant experience leading enterprise software sales organisations with a proven track record of consistently exceeding revenue objectives.
  • Experience leading teams selling SaaS, cloud and subscription-based enterprise software.
  • Strong understanding of Digital Experience, Enterprise Content Management, Content Services, Process Automation, Information Governance and AI-enabled Information Management.
  • Proven ability to develop executive-level relationships and influence strategic customer decisions.
  • Demonstrated success coaching enterprise Account Executives through complex, multi-stakeholder sales opportunities.
  • Strong business acumen with experience building and executing regional business plans.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and executive presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyse complex business challenges and develop innovative customer-focused solutions.
  • Experience collaborating effectively across matrixed global organisations.
  • Strong commercial, negotiation and forecasting capabilities.
  • Knowledge of strategic enterprise accounts within the assigned region.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
