BoviSync is entering an important stage of growth in the United States, and we are creating a new sales leadership role to help shape what comes next. BoviSync is already helping dairies turn better information into better management decisions, stronger teamwork, and more consistent processes across dairy operations globally. We are now looking for an experienced dairy sales leader who can build on that momentum, strengthen our presence in the market, and contribute to shaping the next stage of BoviSync's commercial growth.
This role has real scope to shape how BoviSync approaches sales and growth in the US market. The Director of Sales and Marketing will have the opportunity to influence how BoviSync approaches the market, develops its sales team, builds stronger industry relationships, and creates a more consistent path from first conversation to long-term customer partnership. The role will combine leadership with direct involvement in the field, working alongside the team, supporting key opportunities, and accelerating BoviSync's growth across the US dairy industry.
We are looking for someone who understands how dairies operate, knows how to earn credibility with producers and their trusted advisers, and has the confidence to lead both people and strategy whilst remaining a team player. The right person will be excited by the chance to build something, not just manage it, and will play a central part in BoviSync's next stage of growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead BoviSync's US sales and marketing strategy, with a clear focus on winning new customers, increasing revenue, and expanding market share in priority dairy regions.
- Lead, coach, and develop the sales team, setting clear expectations and objectives for prospecting, pipeline management, follow-up, forecasting, and results. Support individual team members through regular coaching, call preparation, ride-alongs, objection handling, and involvement in important sales opportunities.
- Build a strong and accountable sales culture that develops individual strengths, supports professional growth, and gives the team the structure needed to perform consistently as BoviSync continues to grow.
- Remain actively involved in the market by leading sales conversations with dairy owners and managers, from initial prospecting and farm visits through discovery, demonstrations, proposals, and closing new business.
- Develop lasting relationships with dairy producers, consultants, veterinarians, nutritionists, industry partners, and other influential organisations across the US dairy industry.
- Identify areas with strong growth potential and develop practical plans to increase BoviSync's presence within those markets.
- Represent BoviSync at customer meetings, farm visits, trade shows, industry events, and partner discussions, presenting the company with credibility and a strong understanding of both dairy management and software.
- Maintain an accurate view of sales performance through disciplined pipeline management, forecasting, and revenue reporting, while using this information to guide priorities and business execution.
- Lead BoviSync's marketing direction so that it strengthens the brand, supports the sales team, generates qualified opportunities, and contributes directly to customer acquisition.
The Experience & Approach We Value
- An experienced dairy sales leader with a strong understanding of dairy operations, herd management, and the practical needs of producers and their advisers.
- A proven record of leading sales teams, growing revenue, and developing salespeople — experienced in consultative, relationship-based selling and comfortable managing opportunities through prospecting, discovery, demonstration, proposal, and close.
- The ability to think strategically while remaining actively involved in the field, confidently supporting the sales team through joint field and farm visits, call preparation, objection handling, key account discussions, and important closing conversations.
- A strong working knowledge of dairy management systems such as BoviSync, DairyComp305, DHI-Plus, PCDART, or similar platforms would be highly valuable, along with an understanding of how dairy data, reporting, and management systems support better decisions and more consistent, efficient management.
- Experience selling software or technology would be an advantage, but it is not essential. Strong dairy industry knowledge, sales leadership experience, and the ability to build trusted relationships will matter more than experience with a particular type of product.
- Being a genuine team player is essential. The right person will work closely with colleagues across sales, marketing, technical services, implementation, customer support, and leadership — approachable, collaborative, willing to share information, and motivated by the success of the wider business rather than individual recognition alone.
- Willingness and ability to spend 40–60% of the time in the field, supporting the sales team, meeting dairy producers and industry partners, and developing opportunities across the United States.
