Director of Sales – Ambipar Field Services North America

Position Summary

The Director of Sales is responsible for leading the Ambipar Field Service North America sales function to achieve revenue targets and business growth objectives. This role develops and implements strategic sales plans, manages and coaches sales personnel, builds key customer relationships, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to maximize market opportunities and customer satisfaction.

  • Compensation Range: $140,000 - $160,000 / year
  • Travel: 30%

Essential Job Functions

Sales Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company goals and growth objectives.
  • Build on existing sales strategy analysis to reboot capture strategies.
  • Establish annual, quarterly, and monthly sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and revenue streams.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and market conditions.

Team Management

  • Recruit, train, mentor, and manage sales managers and sales representatives.
  • Foster a high-performance sales culture focused on accountability and results.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions.
  • Develop succession plans and career growth opportunities within the sales organization.

Revenue Growth

  • Drive achievement of sales quotas and revenue goals.
  • Manage sales forecasting, pipeline development, and territory planning.
  • Analyze sales performance data and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Oversee and maintain pricing governance model.

Customer & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers and strategic partners.
  • Support major account acquisition and retention efforts.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.

Internal Collaboration

  • Partner with Operations to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Collaborate with other business areas to ensure the full scope of Ambipar capabilities are included in solution offerings.
  • Coordinate with Marketing group to maintain consistent branding.  

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Organizational Management, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • 7–10+ years of progressive sales experience, including leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong experience in sales planning, forecasting, and team leadership.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.

Preferred Job Requirements

  • MBA preferred

Work Schedule/Work Environment

This position will be primarily a remote office environment, with frequent visits to Ambipar work site and customer sites. Employee must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
