THE OPPORTUNITY



Ceras Health, Inc. is a growing healthcare technology organization seeking an experienced finance and operations professional to join its team.

 

The Director of Finance & Operations / Executive Committee Representative will serve as a primary operational finance contact and work closely with Executive Committee members, company leadership, and stakeholders nationwide.

 

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in financial operations, forecasting, contract oversight, and business operations, preferably within healthcare, healthcare technology, or another regulated industry.

 

This position requires a high degree of independence, sound judgment, discretion, organization, communication, and attention to detail. The successful candidate must be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and working effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

 

This is a fully remote position.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS



  • Oversee and manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, treasury functions, cash management, and banking relationships.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on financial forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis, and strategic planning.
  • Prepare and communicate financial information and analysis to support timely, data-driven business decisions.
  • Review, draft, negotiate, and manage business contracts in coordination with company leadership and legal counsel.
  • Coordinate company insurance programs and work with appropriate professional advisors regarding tax compliance and related matters.
  • Support vendor, contractor, and business-partner negotiations.
  • Maintain appropriate financial records, controls, processes, and documentation.
  • Support organizational compliance with applicable financial policies, internal controls, and corporate governance requirements.
  • Support strategic growth initiatives by clearly communicating the value of Ceras Health's services to prospective market partners.
  • Participate in continuous process-improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the Ceras Health product portfolio and its business and operational applications.
  • Work collaboratively with leadership, vendors, contractors, professional advisors, and other stakeholders.
  • Meet or exceed established key performance indicators (KPIs), financial objectives, and operational goals.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of company financial, business, contractual, and other sensitive information.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities consistent with the position and the needs of the company.
  • Actively contribute to company growth by collaboratively supporting sales initiatives, customer acquisition, and cross-functional revenue goals regardless of primary role or title.

 

Authority and Delegation: The title of this position does not, by itself, grant authority to execute contracts, incur obligations, transfer funds, make banking changes, or otherwise bind Ceras Health, Inc. Any such authority must be expressly delegated by the company in accordance with applicable corporate policies, resolutions, or written authorization.

 

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE



Required Qualifications



  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in healthcare-related finance, corporate financial management, accounting, finance operations, or a substantially similar field.
  • Bachelorette degree (four-year) in finance, accounting, business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with financial systems, accounting or ERP software, banking platforms, and cloud-based business technologies.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fully remote environment.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality with sensitive financial and business information.



Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience working in healthcare, healthcare technology, digital health, or another regulated industry.
  • Experience with contract management and business negotiations.
  • Experience working directly with executive leadership.
  • Experience with financial forecasting, budgeting, cash management, and strategic financial analysis.
  • Experience working with external accounting, legal, insurance, tax, and other professional service providers.
