About the Role

We're looking for a strategic and innovative leader to shape the future of our global benefits programs. As our Director/Senior Director of Benefits, you'll lead the strategy, design, governance, and administration of benefits programs that support employees across more than 30 countries.

Based in the United States, you'll partner with regional HR teams, brokers, consultants, and benefit providers around the world to deliver competitive, meaningful, and compliant benefit programs that enhance the employee experience while supporting our business objectives. You'll balance global consistency with local market needs, ensuring our benefits programs remain aligned to the market, competitive and sustainable.

What you will get to do

 

  • Develop and execute a global benefits strategy that supports our business goals and employee experience.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and administration of health, welfare, retirement, wellness, and leave programs across more than 30 countries.
  • Provide strategic oversight of the company's leave of absence programs and processes, ensuring consistent, compliant, and employee-centered experience.
  • Establish governance and best practices for leave administration, including medical, family, disability, statutory, and other protected leaves, while ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and international regulations.
  • Partner with regional HR teams, brokers, consultants, and benefit providers to ensure programs remain competitive, compliant, and locally relevant.
  • Build strong relationships with global benefit vendors, managing performance, service delivery, contract negotiations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Evaluate market trends, benchmark programs, and recommend solutions that enhance employee experience while managing cost and risk.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations across all countries.
  • Lead annual renewal process including strategy, vendor evaluations, and ongoing optimization of benefit offerings.
  • Drive process improvements, technology enhancements, and automation opportunities that improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Develop executive reporting, analytics, and insights that support data-driven decision-making and measure program effectiveness.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team.

What We're Looking For

  • Progressive leadership experience in global benefits within a multinational organization.
  • Proven experience designing and managing benefits programs across multiple countries with an understanding of global market practices and local statutory requirements.
  • Demonstrated success managing global benefit vendors, brokers, and consulting partners.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. employee benefits, with experience overseeing international benefits programs.
  • Experience developing benefit strategies that balance employee experience, market competitiveness, compliance, and financial stewardship.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations.
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and build trusted partnerships across the business.
  • Experience leading organizational change, process improvement, and technology initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications are a plus.
