About the role

Permanent full time position that can be located anywhere in Australia where you have full flexibility to work from home or one of our offices. Join our dynamic national team as Digital Product Manager, where you'll lead a team of digital design and digital software developers to proactively engage with the business to develop and implement an innovative solution through a combination of community sourcing of problems and active research. The immediate focus will be on developing a product roadmap and overseeing incremental execution of the roadmap to extend an existing mobile application to integrate with a new Client Management System and to introduce AI capabilities. Through a collaborative approach, you will develop and embed knowledge and capability in the business to consider, value and enable innovative approaches and tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with and across the business to unearth business problems, understand their impact and raise awareness with relevant stakeholders
• Build and manage capability in Product Management and provide leadership and direction and empower team to execute against defined prioritised problems. 
• Facilitate consensus of business problems with stakeholders from a variety of areas across LWB.
• Develop business cases and costing for solutions.
• Develop a product roadmap defined as a backlog of features for our digital products that will enhance frontline service delivery.
• Support the team and project leaders in the showcasing, release and deployment of incremental features.
• Present roadmaps and outputs from work already completed to executive level governance forums.
• Actively measure the progress of multiple concurrent tests and vigorously defend the integrity of the tests to ensure LWB learns from experiments.
• Actively pursue learning about new approaches to relevant business problems and technologies.
• Develop methods for prioritisation of problems to enable constant release of business value both in learning and tangible business value uplift.

Skills & Experience:

• Tertiary level qualification in a related discipline.
• Significant experience in customer centred design with a focus on end-to-end experience design.
• Demonstrated experience in turning research into tangible, actionable business outcomes especially through digital products with a focus on mobile apps.
• Experience working with Amazon Bedrock or similar AI framework in leveraging AI agentic and orchestration to existing data sources.
• Experience working in technology and business optimisation projects with multi-disciplinary co-located teams.
• Working knowledge of a variety of facilitation and analysis techniques such as Value Stream Analysis, Design Thinking, Process mapping, Story Mapping, Systems Thinking, MVP development and Change management.
• Ability to support organisation-wide initiatives that support Life Without Barriers’ Purpose and Values.
• The ability to influence and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders including peers, employees, and external organisations.
• Strong verbal communication skills and presentation ability.

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check.
