About the Role

We’re looking for a strategic and performance-driven Customer Success Manager (CSM) with strong expertise in Paid Media and SEO to manage client relationships, drive marketing performance, and support long-term account growth.

This is not a traditional support-focused CSM role. We need someone who already understands digital marketing strategy and performance metrics across PPC and SEO and can confidently lead client conversations without requiring training on core concepts.

You will act as a strategic advisor to clients, partnering closely with internal Paid Media and SEO teams to ensure campaigns deliver measurable business results. Success in this role will be measured by client retention, campaign performance, account growth, and overall customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Client Success & Retention

  • Own and manage a portfolio of client accounts with a focus on retention, growth, and long-term partnership.
  • Serve as the primary strategic point of contact for clients, confidently discussing Paid Media and SEO performance, recommendations, and business impact.
  • Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews, translating campaign data into actionable insights and growth strategies.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and proactively identify opportunities to improve client outcomes.
  • Identify risks, performance concerns, or retention challenges early and implement solutions proactively.

Paid Media & SEO Strategy Oversight

  • Partner closely with internal Paid Ads and SEO teams to align strategies with client goals and KPIs.
  • Understand and interpret performance across:Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, SEO performance and organic growth metrics
  • Analyze campaign performance, ROAS, lead quality, conversion metrics, and traffic trends to provide strategic recommendations.
  • Ensure marketing strategies align with business objectives including lead generation, pipeline growth, and revenue impact.
  • Confidently communicate optimization opportunities and performance insights directly to clients.

Account Growth & Revenue Expansion

  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across existing accounts.
  • Recommend additional services, channels, or growth initiatives based on client performance and business needs.
  • Support revenue expansion targets through strategic account development.

Performance & Operations Management

  • Manage workflows, reporting timelines, and campaign deliverables across multiple accounts.
  • Maintain organized client documentation, forecasts, and communication within CRM and project management systems.
  • Coordinate effectively with internal teams to ensure timely execution and client satisfaction.

Tools & Systems

  • Work within marketing and automation platforms such as:

    • Go High Level (GHL)

    • Paid media platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.)

    • SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar)

  • Maintain structured workflows, reporting, and communication processes.



Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Digital Marketing, or Growth-focused roles within a marketing agency or SaaSenvironment.
  • Strong working knowledge of:
    • Google Ads
    • Meta Ads
    • PPC campaign performance metrics
    • SEO strategy and organic performance reporting
  • Proven experience managing multiple client accounts in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to independently lead conversations around campaign performance, optimization opportunities, and marketing strategy.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to translate marketing data into business recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with direct client-facing experience.
  • Experience with Go High Level (GHL), ClickUp, CRM systems, and marketing reporting tools.
  • Highly organized with strong project and stakeholder management skills.
