DevOps Engineer

This is a remote position.

Compulsory Requirement: Minimum 3 Years Experience as a DevOps Engineer with a strong portfolio showcasing robust CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and cloud infrastructure management.

Payment Structure: Full-time salary – The DevOps Engineer will be compensated with a competitive fixed salary aligned with industry standards and experience level for work completed on both FyerX's internal technology infrastructure and external client platforms.

Advantage: Prior experience working with tech firms, marketing agencies, enterprise platform integrations (e.g., Salesforce, ServiceNow), or managing automation engines and event-driven data workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Architect, implement, and maintain secure, highly available cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) supporting FyerX's internal platforms and client tech transformations.
  

• Design, build, and optimize automated CI/CD deployment pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps) to accelerate release cycles and ensure zero-downtime deployments.
  

• Manage containerization and orchestration workflows using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring seamless scalability and optimal resource allocation across microservices.
  

• Collaborate closely with backend, frontend, and data engineering teams to establish automated testing, infrastructure as code (IaC), and secure environment configurations.
  

• Implement robust monitoring, centralized logging, and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) to proactively detect anomalies, maintain uptime, and enforce cloud security best practices.
  

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional DevOps and cloud engineering experience with a proven track record of maintaining production environments and deployment automation.
  

• Advanced expertise in major cloud providers (primarily AWS, GCP, or Azure) and container orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  

• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible for reproducible environments.
  

• Deep knowledge of modern CI/CD tooling, Linux system administration, networking protocols, SSL/TLS, and DNS management.
  

• Strategic problem-solving skills with an uncompromising focus on reliability engineering, security posture (DevSecOps), and writing clean, maintainable configuration code.
  

• Strong organizational, time-tracking, and project management skills; ability to handle multiple infrastructure streams simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and coordinate effectively with remote tech teams.
