About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented Design Production Specialist to prepare customer-supplied designs for final production in both 2D and 3D formats. What You'll Do CAD & Technical Design
Prepare and modify customer-supplied designs for production.
Create and update 2D and 3D CAD files using SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
Review technical drawings for accuracy and production readiness.
Make design adjustments based on manufacturing requirements and production feedback.
Maintain clear and accurate technical documentation.
Artwork & Production Files
Prepare and adjust artwork using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Review graphics and artwork to ensure files are production-ready.
Adjust layouts, dimensions, and production files as needed.
Maintain consistency between artwork and technical drawings.
Production Support & Documentation
Collaborate with production staff throughout fabrication and assembly.
Respond to production feedback and make necessary design or artwork revisions.
Ensure design files contain the information required for successful manufacturing.
Manage multiple CAD, artwork, and production files while maintaining accurate version control and documentation.
Support Bills of Materials (BOMs) when applicable.
Qualifications Required Qualifications
Proficiency in SolidWorks or other CAD software.
Strong skills in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for artwork preparation and adjustments.
Background in Industrial Design, CAD Design, Production Art, Prepress, or a related field, through formal education or equivalent professional experience.
Ability to work with both 2D and 3D design files.
Strong attention to detail across technical drawings and graphic files.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple files, revisions, and documentation.
B2+/C1 English proficiency with strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with U.S.-based team members.
Ability to communicate across departments and implement production feedback.
Flexible, dependable, and self-directed in a small, fast-paced remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with retail displays, point-of-purchase displays, store fixtures, merchandising systems, or branded environments.
Experience creating or organizing Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Previous experience as an Industrial Designer, Product Designer, CAD Designer, Prepress Technician, or Production Artist.
Interest in continuing to develop advanced SolidWorks skills.
