AI Summary

You will lead client engagements from discovery to deployment, working with executives to identify automation opportunities and managing engineers to build AI agents. You are responsible for defining product requirements, tracking performance metrics, and ensuring successful delivery of AI solutions.

About Stello

Stello puts AI agents into production inside large enterprises. We work with clients to find the workflows worth automating, build the agents, and keep improving them after launch. Our agents run in production today at enterprises across healthcare, financial services, insurance, retail, and professional sports.

The role

As a Deployment Strategist, you'll run client engagements from the first meeting to measured results. You'll work with client executives to decide what to build, lead delivery with our engineers, and track how each agent performs once it's live.

Success means that the client uses what we deliver and can measure how it improves their business.

Why this role

  • You own the whole engagement, from the first executive meeting to measured results.

  • Your work ships. You'll see the agents you scoped running inside a client's business.

  • You'll build with AI every day, alongside engineers who deploy agents for a living.

  • You'll work directly with client executives and with our founders.

What you'll do

  • Find the bottleneck. Run discovery sessions, interview teams, and map how the work gets done today.

  • Decide what to build. Work with client executives to find where agents will have the most impact, estimate the value, and help them choose where to start.

  • Define the product. Turn what you learn into a project plan, requirements, and acceptance criteria an engineer can act on.

  • Lead delivery. Resolve product questions, test prototypes with users, and keep timelines and dependencies on track across parallel engagements. Build simple prototypes with AI and low-code tools when they help.

  • Measure the result. Set the metrics for each deployment, track them, and use the data to fix what does not work.

  • Lead the client relationship. Present results to leadership, explain tradeoffs, raise risks early, and find the next area to automate.

  • Build the playbook. Turn lessons from each engagement into a process the next one can start from.

Examples of the work

  • For an enterprise healthcare company, you might run a two-week diagnostic across operations, rank the five best opportunities for agents, and present the plan to leadership.

  • For a financial services firm, you might write the requirements for a support agent, test the prototype with frontline staff, and manage its rollout.

  • For a professional sports team, you might build an agent's metrics in SQL after launch, find where it fails, and work with engineers to fix it.

What we look for

  • 2+ years in consulting, strategy, operations, product management, or program management.

  • You have led a project from start to finish, and you can explain what you changed and what happened.

  • You can turn an open-ended business problem into requirements and a practical plan.

  • You are comfortable with SQL and with using data to make a case.

  • You use AI tools every day to build things and solve problems (for example Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Lovable, Zapier, or n8n).

  • You have enough technical fluency to earn an engineer's trust and to explain a technical decision to an executive.

  • You work independently, handle several workstreams at once, and write and speak clearly.

Nice to have

  • Experience at a consulting firm, a startup, or a company building with AI.

  • Experience deploying software into enterprise or regulated environments.

  • A background in statistics or data science.
