Job Description:
- Move demographic and scheduling information from one system to another
- Check insurance eligibility thru websites or calls
- Obtain dental procedure history
- Accurately encode Fee Schedules in our practice softwares
- Check accuracy of previously entered data
- Collaborate effectively with other members of the Dental Team to ensure smooth operations
Minimum Qualifications:
- Familiarity with dental coding systems (preferably but not required)
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Basic knowledge of dental billing codes and insurance procedures is advantageous but no required
- Data entry skills (40 WPM or better)
- Ability to work with and maintain confidential information
- Has reliable internet at home
- Willing to work in shifting schedules or graveyard shift
- Able to work from home with reliable internet and a backup connection.
