We are currently seeking a Delivery Director to join our team in Remote, Japan.

Position overview:

Leads and directs Delivery area which provides services to clients in connection with the design, development and implementation of IT solutions using software /
hardware systems or the integration of software / hardware systems or professional IT solutions services. Provides strategic direction and oversight in developing teams’ capabilities, achieving financial and operational objectives and successfully delivering on client commitments. Develops the Delivery line of business and
drives consistent processes and practices around the world. Develops and maintains strong relationships
with client’s leadership team.
Duties:
•    Manages a staff of professional-level team members or manages a team through lower-level supervisors.
•    Works independently determining approach to managing daily operations.
•    Translates business plans into objectives and exercises latitude in managing operations. Accomplishes results through the efforts of subordinate managers / professional team members.
•    Responsible for large accounts with high level of complexity.
•    Provides leadership, direction and oversight of activities such as system design and analysis, applications and system programming, database management, network systems, telecommunications and data processing operations.
•    Responsible for delivering in a highly-matrixed global delivery model.
•    Mentors and trains less experienced delivery management team members.

Position's General Duties and Tasks:

• Act as technical point of contact and escalation point for the Customer for delivery teams.
• Directs the efforts of others in the achievement of the strategic and operational objectives of the group.
• Review (internal and with customer) delivery and SLA metrics with the enterprise delivery team and address through Service Improvement Plans – skills, performance, attrition.
• Provides complex metrics and reporting support to all relevant stakeholders.
• Identifies opportunities for Growth and Innovation and supports planning and execution for the same.
• Proactively identifies potential issues and drives resolution to avoid customer impact and facilitate continuous service improvement.
• Identifies opportunities for increased productivity and efficiency through identifying new technologies and new and improved ways of executing operational activities.
• Builds and sustains effective communications with all stakeholders and cross-functional teams to maximize customer experience.

Qualifications

• A minimum of ten (10) years of delivery experience.
• Should be bi-lingual Japanese and English
