Dedicated Account Specialist

About the Role

Beacon Account Services is hiring Dedicated Account Specialists to own the relationship with people who have started a resolution plan. This is a single-point-of-contact role: the people on your book get you, by name, every time they call, from the day their plan starts until the day it is finished. You will carry roughly 200 accounts, and you will know them.

The job is to keep plans alive. Most plans do not fail because someone changed their mind; they fail because something happened in a particular month and nobody caught it. You are the person who catches it, calls the same day, works out what changed, and finds a way to keep the plan on its feet.

We are currently hiring remote Account Specialists in Arizona and Texas.

What You'll Do

• Own a book of roughly 200 accounts on active resolution plans, start to finish
• Be the named contact your clients reach, and return every call and message yourself
• Watch your book for missed and at-risk payments, and reach out the day something slips rather than waiting for the cycle
• Diagnose what changed and restructure the plan inside approved policy where the situation warrants it
• Keep clients informed on where they stand, what they have paid, and what remains
• Manage your own queue and priorities without a dial list being handed to you
• Maintain documentation to a standard that stands up in an audit or examination
• Work strictly inside FDCPA, Reg F, and state requirements on every contact

What We're Looking For

• Two or more years owning a named book of accounts or clients, measured on whether that book stayed rather than on volume worked
• Background in default servicing, loss mitigation, loan servicing, or account management in consumer finance
• Demonstrated follow-through over months, on cases that do not resolve in a single call
• Strong organization and self-direction; you will run your own queue
• Patience and steadiness with people in difficulty, including on the calls that are not pleasant
• Working knowledge of FDCPA and Reg F, and documentation habits to match
• Ability to pass a background check, and to be individually registered or licensed in states that require it
• Will be willing to be registered as a collection under our state licenses where required. Beacon will handle all the filings and the cost.

Nice to Have

• Single point of contact experience under a continuity-of-contact standard
• Experience with payment plans, settlements, hardship programs, or loan modifications

We are building this team from the ground up, which means the people who join now shape how the work gets done.

Compensation

This is a regular full-time position, 40 hours per week. Base compensation is $32/hr.

In addition to base compensation, this position qualifies for commission. Dedicated Account Specialist earn a monthly bonus based on the agents’ performance, subject to the terms outlined in the company's incentive plan.
