Remote | Full-Time | $135K-$150K | Active DoD Secret Clearance Required

Louisiana Technology Group (LATG) is seeking an experienced Databricks Data Architect to lead enterprise data architecture efforts supporting a major U.S. Navy modernization initiative. You will define data standards, design scalable Lakehouse architectures, and guide engineering teams in delivering secure, high-performance analytics solutions.

What You'll Do

• Design and govern enterprise data architecture within the Databricks Lakehouse Platform.
• Develop logical and physical data models for operational and analytical workloads.
• Design Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers using Medallion Architecture.
• Create and maintain star schemas, snowflake schemas, fact tables, dimension tables, and source-to-target mappings.
• Design Gold-layer data structures that support business reporting, KPIs, and analytics.
• Establish architecture, governance, and data modeling standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, analysts, and engineers to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Review pipeline designs and ensure alignment with architectural best practices.
• Support production operations through troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and performance optimization.
• Maintain architecture documentation, diagrams, standards, and implementation guidance.

Education & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, or data warehousing.
• Experience designing enterprise data solutions within Databricks.
• Experience implementing architecture, governance, and modeling standards.
• Experience working within Agile environments.

• Experience supporting production environments and incident resolution.
• Experience migrating data between accredited and non-accredited environments.

Clearance Requirements

• S. Citizenship required and Active DoD Secret Clearance.
