Database Developer (m/f/d) – AI-Assisted Data Migration

We develop modern solutions for complex data migration projects in the financial industry. You will work with Oracle, PostgreSQL, PL/SQL, SQL and Python and actively shape how we use AI in software development and data migration.

Your mission

• Design and develop database applications and complex data migration solutions
• Develop transformation and data processing logic using PL/SQL, SQL and Python
• Work with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases, including data modeling, complex SQL and performance optimization
• Use Python for data processing, automation, database integration and migration tooling
• Analyze and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL applications
• Design scalable data models and migration workflows
• Use modern AI tools such as Claude Code to design, develop, test and document solutions
• Maintain and further develop existing applications and migration solutions
• Cooperate directly with colleagues, partners and customers
• Depending on your experience: take responsibility for project coordination, requirements analysis and customer communication

Your profile

• Very good PL/SQL and SQL skills
• Strong experience with Oracle databases
• Experience in complex data migration and data transformation projects
• Experience with PostgreSQL, particularly SQL, data modeling and performance optimization, is a strong plus
• Practical Python development skills, ideally in data processing, automation or database integration
• Genuine interest in AI-assisted software development and modern development tools
• Strong analytical thinking and a structured way of working
• High degree of ownership, self-motivation and discipline
• Experience with cloud technologies and agile development methods is a plus
• Very good German and English skills
• Permanent residence in or around Bratislava, Slovakia
