Data Migration System Lead - Pharma (remote)

You will drive enterprise data migration initiatives, leading the design, governance, and execution of scalable data solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners to support key business transformation programs. TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES 🚀:

• Act as the technical lead for Data Migration and Data Management initiatives across global programs.

• Define end-to-end migration strategies, architectures, frameworks, and technical standards.

• Own the overall solution design for data migration processes supporting ERP implementations, acquisitions, divestitures, and system transformations.

• Lead data discovery, data assessment, data object definition, and source-to-target mapping activities.

• Drive data architecture decisions ensuring consistency across systems and platforms.

• Ensure alignment between business processes, enterprise architecture standards, and migration solutions.

• Review and approve technical designs, transformation rules, validation procedures, and reconciliation approaches.

• Define migration waves, cutover strategies, rollback procedures, and go-live readiness criteria.

• Establish best practices, methodologies, templates, and governance models for migration projects.

• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to project teams, migration specialists, developers, and analysts.

• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Application Owners, Integration Teams, Data Governance, and Security organizations.

• Support solution scalability, maintainability, performance, and compliance requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical

• Strong experience in Data Migration and Data Governance programs.

• Knowledge of SAP architecture and SAP data models.

• Experience with ETL and Cloud-based Data Migration solutions (AWS preferred).

• Good understanding of system integrations, network connectivity and enterprise platforms.

• Knowledge of SQL databases and data analysis tools.

• Experience with testing frameworks and validation methodologies.

• Understanding of GxP regulated environments.

• English: Professional/Fluent (C1).

Professional Experience

• 5+ years of experience leading Data Migration initiatives.

• Experience within pharmaceutical or highly regulated industries.

• Experience delivering global business transformation projects.

• Proven stakeholder management and vendor coordination capabilities.

• Experience combining technical leadership with project management responsibilities.

SCHEDULE 🕘:

• 08/09h -17/18h from Monday to Friday (flexible)

• 100% remote (with availability to travel to Barcelona when necessary)
