We are seeking a meticulous and organised Data Librarian to join our dedicated team. This is a full-time, fully remote position. Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain data management systems and procedures to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Organise and catalogue key organisational datasets, including information on programmes, members, donors, and outcomes.
• Uphold data integrity by performing regular data quality checks and cleansing activities.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal data requests, providing staff with timely and accurate information.
• Assist in creating insightful reports, dashboards, and data visualisations to track key metrics and communicate our impact to stakeholders.
• Manage database security, including user access and permissions, to ensure compliance with data protection policies.
• Provide training and support to staff on data entry standards and best practices to promote a data-literate culture.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a data management, database administration, or information science role.
• A strong understanding of database structures, data modelling, and data governance principles.
• Proficiency in managing databases and using data analysis tools; experience with SQL is highly advantageous.
• Exceptional organisational skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical colleagues.
• The ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.
• A bachelor's degree in Information Science, Library Science, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience working within the non-profit sector is highly desirable.
