Position Description

PingWind is seeking an Data Entry Operator IV  who will provide technical, analytical, and lifecycle support to the Maritime Electronic Warfare Systems Division (MEWSD) for critical U.S. Navy Electromagnetic Warfare (EW), Decoy, and Surface Electronic Warfare Improvement Program (SEWIP) systems. This role supports cradle-to-grave activities, including engineering, technology transition, installation, logistics, product support, test and evaluation, sustainment, maintenance, and repair. The Data Entry Operator IV will integrate logistics, data science, reliability and maintainability engineering, and operations research to analyze and model complex systems, improve operational availability, and support data-driven decisions. This position directly contributes to optimizing warfighting capability, system readiness, reliability, and lifecycle performance while balancing mission requirements, performance, and cost.

Primary Responsibilities

Typical Responsibilities/Tasks:
•    Perform advanced data entry, verification, validation, and maintenance of information within designated databases, applications, and information systems.
•    Enter, update, retrieve, and maintain technical, logistics, inventory, maintenance, operational, and program data accurately and efficiently.
•    Review source documents and electronic records to ensure completeness, accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established procedures.
•    Conduct quality control and data validation checks to identify duplicate, incomplete, inaccurate, or inconsistent records.
•    Research and resolve data discrepancies and errors, coordinating with appropriate technical or program personnel when clarification is required.
•    Maintain accurate electronic records and ensure proper data organization, traceability, and document control.
•    Process high-volume and complex data transactions while meeting established accuracy, productivity, and schedule requirements.
•    Generate routine data reports, status updates, queries, and extracts to support program operations and management requirements.
•    Support the collection, consolidation, and preparation of data for analysis, reporting, audits, inventory management, and program reviews.
•    Follow established data management, configuration control, cybersecurity, privacy, and information-handling procedures.
•    Assist with developing and maintaining data entry procedures, work instructions, templates, and quality standards.
•    Provide guidance and quality review support to junior data entry personnel, as required.
