Wu Pediatrics is looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our dedicated team in Temple City, CA. Responsibilities:
- Accurately input and update patient demographic and medical information into the practice management system
- Verify and maintain electronic health records (EHR) for accuracy and completeness
- Process and organize patient intake forms, insurance information, and medical documents
- Perform routine data audits to identify and correct discrepancies
- Scan, file, and retrieve physical and digital documents as needed
- Coordinate with front office and clinical staff to ensure timely and accurate data processing
- Maintain strict confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or medical office training preferred
- Previous data entry or medical office experience is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with EHR/practice management software
- Strong typing speed and accuracy with keen attention to detail
- Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and patient confidentiality standards
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Friendly, professional demeanor with the ability to work in a fast-paced pediatric environment
