You will own client-facing and internal reporting dashboards while auditing and fixing conversion tracking across ad platforms and CRMs. Additionally, you will analyze marketing data to surface actionable recommendations for paid media and SEO teams.
Company Overview
Our client is a performance marketing agency specializing in mission-driven organizations across the higher education and nonprofit sectors. They combine sharp strategy, creative excellence, and data-driven execution to help universities and organizations achieve measurable growth: enrollments, applications, inquiries, and awareness.
Your Role
The Data & Analytics Specialist keeps that measurement trustworthy. You will own the client-facing and internal reporting dashboards, audit and fix conversion tracking across ad platforms and CRMs, and surface the patterns in the data before they turn into a client question nobody can answer. You report to the Data & Analytics Manager and work daily with the paid media and SEO teams.
You'll:
- Build and maintain reporting dashboards that both marketers and non-technical stakeholders trust
- Audit pixel and tag implementation across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, and programmatic campaigns
- Configure and QA event tracking and goal completions in GA4 and Google Tag Manager, from ad click through CRM entry
- Manage data flows between CRM platforms and upstream marketing systems so lead data stays attributed correctly
- Troubleshoot tracking discrepancies across platforms and trace them to a root cause
- Maintain tagging plans, data dictionaries, and QA checklists so tracking stays documented
- Analyze marketing and CRM data to surface recommendations for the paid media and SEO teams
You Bring:
- 3+ years of hands-on analytics experience in a marketing or agency environment
- Experience implementing and auditing conversion tracking and pixels across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, and GA4/Google Tag Manager
- Experience working with CRM data flows, ideally Salesforce, HubSpot, or Slate
- Strong hands-on skills in data extraction, integration, and visualization tools
- A working understanding of paid media and SEO performance metrics
- Experience with conversion rate optimization in lead generation
- Strong English communication skills, written and spoken, with the ability to translate what the data shows for a non-technical audience
Bonus Points:
- Experience in education marketing, traditional or online
- Exposure to predictive analytics or statistical analysis techniques
- Agency background supporting multiple client accounts at once
- Familiarity with programmatic advertising platforms
What's Offered:
- Fully remote work environment, roughly 40 hours a week with flexibility inside U.S. time zones
- Competitive compensation based on experience and scope, paid weekly in USD as a contractor
- Real ownership over conversion tracking and reporting, not just execution of someone else's spec
- The chance to build out the tracking and dashboard systems from the ground up, with visibility to the Data & Analytics Manager and leadership
- A collaborative culture focused on accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement
- 20 days of PTO a year, covering holidays, sick time, and regular time off combined, plus a computer and starter equipment provided
