We're looking for a Data Analytics Capability Coach to join our growing team.

This role is ideal for someone who loves data and enjoys helping others succeed. Whether you've worked as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, Reporting Analyst, Analytics Consultant, or similar, this is an opportunity to use your technical expertise to develop and inspire learners as they progress through our Level 4 Data Analyst programme.

What you'll do

As a Data Analytics Capability Coach, you'll support learners throughout their development journey, helping them build confidence, technical capability, and professional judgement.

You'll:

• Coach and mentor learners through regular one-to-one sessions and group workshops.

• Bring data concepts to life, making technical topics engaging, practical, and accessible.

• Help learners develop skills in Excel, SQL, Power BI, Python, data visualisation, and analytical thinking.

• Support learners to move beyond reporting and develop meaningful business insight.

• Encourage critical thinking and help learners understand the real-world impact of their analysis.

• Guide learners through programme milestones, assessments, and End Point Assessment preparation.

• Work collaboratively with employers and stakeholders to ensure learning has genuine workplace impact.

• Create a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment where learners can thrive.

What we're looking for

We're seeking someone who combines strong analytical expertise with a passion for coaching and developing others.

Essential experience

• Experience working in a data analytics, reporting, or business intelligence role.

• Strong Excel skills, including data analysis, formulas, and pivot tables.

• Experience using Power BI or similar visualisation tools.

• Working knowledge of SQL.

• Experience using Python and Jupyter Notebooks for data analysis.

• Knowledge of Power Query and data preparation techniques.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.

• Experience coaching, mentoring, teaching, or supporting the development of others.

• Believe that great analysts combine technical knowledge with curiosity, critical thinking, and sound judgement.

Desirable

• Experience within apprenticeship, vocational learning, or education environments.

• Alteryx experience.

• Experience with BigQuery, Google Sheets, Looker, and Google Workspace.

• Teaching, training, or coaching qualifications.
