The role

We are hiring a remote Cybersecurity Analyst covering Asia hours. This role supplements our Africa and Dubai teams so Vigilbase can provide better follow-the-sun coverage, faster response, and stronger 24/7 support for customers.

What you will do

• Monitor, triage, and investigate security alerts during Asia time-zone coverage.
• Support customer security operations, escalations, and incident workflows.
• Use Flarehawk and related tools to document investigations, reduce noise, and improve handoffs.
• Coordinate with Africa, Dubai, and North America coverage teams to maintain continuity.
• Write clear investigation notes, customer summaries, and escalation recommendations.
• Improve analyst playbooks, shift handoffs, and operational quality.

What we are looking for

• Experience in SOC, cybersecurity operations, incident response, IT security, or technical support.
• Availability to work Asia business hours or agreed shift coverage.
• Strong written communication and careful handoff discipline.
• Understanding of alerts, logs, endpoint/network/cloud signals, and investigation workflows.
• Comfort working remotely with distributed international teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with SIEM, EDR, Cloudflare, cloud platforms, ticketing systems, or case management workflows.
• Experience in an MSP, MSSP, SOC, or customer support environment.
• Relevant security certifications or equivalent practical experience.
