What You’ll Do

In this 12-month fixed-term role, you’ll manage a portfolio of New Zealand customers, helping them maximise the value of the eShepherd platform and ensuring long-term success.

Based primarily in the office (or remotely if you’re outside of Hamilton), you’ll engage with customers via calls, video meetings, and digital tools to provide proactive support and guidance. You’ll also play a key role in shaping scalable, efficient customer success processes and collaborating with Sales and Product teams to maximise impact.

Day-to-day you’ll:

  • Onboard new customers, delivering tailored training and resources

  • Provide proactive, high-touch support to customers with varying levels of experience and comfort with technology

  • Monitor platform adoption and proactively address barriers to success

  • Manage key accounts, fostering loyalty and advocacy

  • Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities and track key metrics

  • Share customer insights to guide product and process improvements

  • Document best practices to support scalable success processes

What You’ll Bring

You're someone who can build trust with farmers and industry stakeholders through your technical confidence, practical agricultural knowledge, and genuine customer focus. You enjoy solving problems, communicating complex information in a clear and approachable way, and helping customers get the most from the technology they use. Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with others, you thrive in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

Practical agricultural experience and a strong understanding of the sector are essential.

Our successful candidate will bring:

  • Proven experience in customer success, account management, or a customer support role within agriculture, AgTech, or a related rural industry

  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn, troubleshoot, and support software and hardware used in farm operations

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the credibility to engage confidently with farmers and industry stakeholders

  • A customer-first mindset and a genuine passion for delivering positive outcomes for farmers

  • A proactive, self-motivated approach, with the ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively as part of a team

  • Experience using CRM systems and leveraging customer data to manage accounts and maximise value
