We are looking for a highly professional and empathetic Customer Service Representative to be the first point of contact for our patients. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing patient interactions, coordinating appointments, and providing outstanding administrative support. Responsibilities

* Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, handling telephone and in-person enquiries with professionalism and compassion.
* Efficiently schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments using our practice management software.
* Provide patients with clear and accurate information regarding their appointments, clinic procedures, and required preparations.
* Register new patients and accurately update existing patient records with demographic and insurance information.
* Address patient questions and concerns thoughtfully, escalating complex issues to the appropriate clinical or administrative staff when necessary.
* Collaborate closely with medical staff to ensure a seamless and coordinated patient journey.
* Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception and waiting area.
* Perform general administrative duties, including managing correspondence, data entry, and filing.

Qualifications

* Proven experience in a customer service, receptionist, or administrative role, preferably within a healthcare environment.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to interact with patients in a caring and empathetic manner.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office. Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems is highly desirable.
* A professional demeanour and a positive attitude.
* The ability to handle sensitive and confidential patient information with the utmost discretion.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
