The role involves leading day-to-day customer service operations, ensuring high customer satisfaction, and acting as the voice of the customer internally. It requires ownership of customer issues, management and mentorship of a team of customer service professionals, and monitoring performance to ensure service excellence. Additionally, the role includes preparing and managing quotations for custom-engineered products, supporting pricing initiatives, analyzing customer service metrics, and developing reports to support management decision-making.
The successful applicant will have proven experience in customer service, customer support, inside sales, account management, or order management within a manufacturing environment. Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred, along with strong customer-facing communication and relationship management skills. Knowledge of ERP, MRP, or similar business systems is required, along with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
