Job Description:
As our Customer Engagement Coordinator, you'll operate as a hands-on individual contributor (IC) at the intersection of business development, event marketing, and customer and product campaigns. You'll work assigned lead lists, triage inbound inquiries, and keep HubSpot fully up to date as our system of record (CRM). You'll also shape event strategies for lead capture and follow-up, and build lifecycle campaigns that keep leads and existing customers engaged. You'll report to the Chief Customer Officer in the interim of onboarding a Director of Marketing.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Business Development & Pipeline Management
- Lead List Management: Work assigned lead lists to identify, qualify, and advance new business opportunities.
- Inbound Triage: Triage inbound inquiries in a timely manner, routing and responding based on fit and urgency.
- CRM Ownership: Maintain and update HubSpot records accurately and consistently, flagging data gaps to the appropriate stakeholder.
Events & Field Marketing
- Event Strategy: Collaborate with marketing leadership to develop event strategies centered on lead capture and structured post-event follow-up.
Lifecycle & Campaign Management
- Nurture Campaigns: Architect ongoing nurture campaigns in HubSpot for leads that have gone stale or closed-lost.
- Customer & Product Campaigns: Collaborate with Customer Success and Product on new release newsletters, and set up existing-customer campaigns and workflows in HubSpot.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Escalation: Escalate issues, insights, and opportunities to the appropriate stakeholders in a timely and appropriate manner.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in a customer or client-facing role.
- Prior experience with a CRM platform (HubSpot strongly preferred); comfortable building workflows, campaigns, and reports, or eager to learn quickly.
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools for copywriting and workflow validation.
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to write or edit clear, engaging campaign and newsletter copy.
- Data-driven: uses performance and segment insights to optimize outreach effectiveness.
- Willing to travel to onsite events and engage directly with prospects, customers, vendor partners, business partners, and other industry folks, with strong virtual cross-collaboration skills across functional stakeholders internally and externally.
- Accountable, solutions-oriented, detail-oriented, self-starter.
