Job Title: Curriculum and Learning Design Manager
Reports to: Director of Education & Training
Compensation: PHP 70,000–85,000 gross monthly base salary, depending on qualifications and experience

Position Summary

Work closely with the Director of Education & Training to create curriculum, design learning resources, and build courses in our and our clients’ learning management systems. Content includes student success, personal and professional development, career readiness, and digital and AI literacy. This role requires initiative, strong instructional judgment, and the ability to carry out agreed-upon work with limited day-to-day supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Write, review, and adapt curriculum, learning activities, and assessments in collaboration with the Director.
• Build and update course content, modules, assignments, and quizzes in Canvas and support implementation in Blackboard and D2L Brightspace.
• Create and configure LTI content links, test access and functionality, and coordinate integration troubleshooting with technical teams.
• Use AI to develop and refine content, documents, presentations, and simple instructional media, carefully checking accuracy and quality.
• Join client meetings, map learning objectives to content, and communicate professionally with reliable follow-through.
• Manage assigned deadlines, incorporate feedback, and review materials and courses before delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design, educational technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• Experience developing curriculum and instructional materials for adult learners.
• Strong hands-on Canvas course-building skills and practical experience with LTI 1.3 tools and content links. Blackboard or Brightspace experience is preferred; willingness to learn both is required.
• Excellent written and spoken English, strong interpersonal skills, and a professional approach to client service.
• Proficiency with AI tools, supported by strong research, critical thinking, editing, and document design skills.
• Ability to work independently within the Director’s guidance, manage priorities, and deliver accurate, polished work.
• Familiarity with U.S. education or workforce development programs is preferred.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate Canvas courses they have personally built through a portfolio, recorded or live walkthrough, or sample course. Be prepared to explain your contributions and design decisions. Demonstrated hands-on Canvas course-building experience is required for consideration.
