The Role:

As the Creative Lead – AI Video Production, you will lead a team of AI video artists and editors in producing high-quality, visually engaging videos using generative AI tools. You will be responsible for creative direction, visual storytelling, production quality, team performance, and continuous improvement of AI-assisted video production workflows. The role requires a strong understanding of animation principles, cinematography, editing, and hands-on experience with generative AI image and video tools.

You will guide the team from storyboard interpretation and visual development through AI footage generation, editing, and final delivery, ensuring consistent visual quality, efficient production, and alignment with project objectives.This is a hands-on leadership role combining creative expertise, technical problem-solving, team mentoring, and production management.

Key Responsibilities

• AI Video Production & Creative Direction: Lead AI-assisted video production using generative AI image and video tools, ensuring strong visual storytelling, cinematography, animation quality, and consistency across projects.
• AI Production Workflow Optimization: Develop and improve AI-assisted production workflows, from storyboard interpretation and image generation to video generation, editing, and final delivery. Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve efficiency and reduce rework.
• Visual Quality & Consistency: Review AI-generated outputs for character consistency, proportions, continuity, composition, camera movement, and visual artifacts such as morphing or glitching. Provide clear, actionable feedback to maintain production quality.
• Team Performance & Productivity: Manage team workloads, monitor production targets and quality metrics, conduct regular performance reviews, and mentor artists to improve creative and technical capabilities.
• AI Tool Research & Implementation: Evaluate emerging AI image and video generation tools, experiment with new techniques, and introduce practical solutions that improve visual quality, creativity, and production efficiency.

Requirements

Must Have Skills:

• Experience translating scripts, creative briefs, and storyboards into compelling visual narratives for educational, promotional, or brand-focused videos.

• Total Experience - 5+ years; minimum 1 year of experience leading creative teams, with a proven ability to mentor, guide, and develop talent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to present ideas to internal and external stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency in video editing and motion graphics software (Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro) and familiarity with generative AI video tools
• Demonstrated expertise in conceptual storytelling and the ability to translate educational objectives into engaging narratives
• Understanding of video storytelling fundamentals: composition, pacing, color theory, and narrative flow.
• Solid skills in compositing, color theory, and color correction to ensure visual coherence and high production value.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and maintain organized file structures.
• Hands on experience with generative AI video tools
• Curiosity and willingness to learn, experiment, and adopt AI tools where they can enhance efficiency and creativity.

Nice to have skills:

• Familiarity with 3D animation or Compositing (e.g., Cinema 4D, Blender) for integrating advanced graphics
• Background in campaign strategy, copywriting, or art direction. 
• Familiarity with instructional design principles and pedagogical best practices
