Zillow's Contingent Workforce (CW) team enables the company to scale talent in a flexible, compliant, and efficient way. We partner closely with the Employee Service Center (ESC), Product, Talent Acquisition, Procurement, and business leaders to deliver a seamless experience for hiring managers and contingent workers.



Our team sits at the intersection of people, process, and systems, ensuring that the workflows and tools that power the contingent workforce program operate smoothly and evolve with the needs of the business.

About the role

As a Contingent Workforce Operations & Systems Analyst, you will support the day to day execution and continuous improvement of Zillow's Contingent Workforce Program as it pertains to operations and systems.

This role is the operational engine behind the CW Program: ensuring that workflows, escalations, documentation, and system configurations are managed effectively so the business can run smoothly. You will translate program needs into clear, actionable updates across our Vendor Management System (VMS), Beeline, and Workday (HRIS), ensuring workflows are scalable, consistent, and operating effectively across regions.

You'll play a key role in connecting program needs with system execution, helping improve how work gets done rather than executing individual transactions, while partnering closely with Tapfin (our Managed Service Provider) and cross-functional teams to deliver a high quality, compliant experience.

You Will 

• Support and improve contingent workforce workflows, identifying gaps and driving updates that enhance how processes operate across Beeline and Workday.
• Act as a Tier 2/3 escalation point for complex operational and system related issues, partnering with MSP, ESC, and Talent Tech to identify root causes and drive resolution through workflow adjustments, system updates, or cross-functional coordination.
• Operate within and help optimize our VMS (Beeline), ensuring workflows are functioning as intended and adapting to evolving business needs.
• Translate business requirements into clear inputs for system and workflow updates across Beeline and Workday, partnering with Product and other technical teams to implement changes.
• Monitor workflow performance and data integrity across the Beeline to Workday integration, proactively identifying issues and supporting improvements to maintain accuracy and consistency.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce friction, and improve efficiency across the contingent worker lifecycle (onboarding, extensions, conversions, and offboarding).
• Support execution of operational initiatives such as vendor workflow updates, lifecycle process improvements, and compliance related changes.
• Assist with intake, prioritization, and tracking of operational work using tools such as Jira, ensuring visibility and timely follow-through.
• Maintain clear, audit ready process documentation and support communication to enable consistent execution across teams and regions.
• Partner with Contingent Workforce leadership, MSP, ESC, People Product, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business needs, systems, and operational processes.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $70,500.00 - $112,500.00 annually. This base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations. In Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Virginia the standard base pay range for this role is $66,900.00 - $106,900.00 annually. The base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. Employees in this role will not be paid below the salary threshold for exempt employees in the state where they reside.

Who you are

• 3+ years of experience in operations, program support, or enablement roles; global or matrixed org experience is a plus.
• Experience working with systems and tools that support business operations, with a solid understanding of how workflows translate into execution.
• Hands-on experience with a Vendor Management System (VMS) such as Beeline is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with Workday workflows, particularly contingent worker lifecycle processes (onboarding, extensions, offboarding, conversions).
• Comfortable troubleshooting system integration issues (e.g., Beeline to Workday) or partnering with technical teams to resolve them.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and support execution through systems and processes.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional and technical partners.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
