About Us:

Psychiatry UK is the UK’s leading provider of digital psychiatry services, working both privately and with the NHS to support children, teenagers and adults with expert, patient-centred care.

A career with Psychiatry UK allows you to expand your knowledge, enhance your skills, and gain valuable life experience—all while enjoying the flexibility of a remote full-time role. As part of a leading online mental health service, you'll collaborate with innovative, forward-thinking professionals in a dynamic, multidisciplinary team committed to making a real difference.

This is a newly created specialist role, initially offered on a 12-month fixed-term basis, responsible for developing and delivering the content strategy for a new neurodiversity pathway and service for children and young people at Psychiatry UK.

Working closely with the Head of Marketing and Propositions, you will lead the content journey end-to-end — from strategic planning and content creation through to campaign delivery, launch and performance evaluation. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across Marketing, Clinical Services and Business Development to ensure content is clinically accurate, accessible, engaging, empathetic and aligned with Psychiatry UK’s values and objectives.

You will be a hands-on content creator, developing high-quality, engaging and accessible content for two key audiences: children and young people, and their parents and carers. Alongside content creation, you will develop and manage a broader content plan that supports patient engagement, education, acquisition and trust throughout the new pathway.

You will bring experience of developing and delivering integrated content and marketing campaigns, taking ideas from initial concept through to launch and evaluating their impact. You will be confident balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, using insight and performance data to continuously improve content and engagement.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping how Psychiatry UK communicates with children, young people and their families as they access neurodiversity services, helping to create clear, supportive and engaging experiences throughout their journey with us.

This is a home-based role (applicants must reside in the UK), though occasional travel may be required for face-to-face meetings at various locations within the UK.

As our Content Marketing Manager – Children & Young People you will:

  • Develop and deliver the content marketing strategy for the new CYP neurodiversity pathway and product, aligned with commercial and brand objectives.

  • Create a range of engaging content, including web copy, blogs, guides, emails, social/video scripts and campaign assets.

  • Translate complex clinical and pathway information into clear, accurate and empathetic content for children and young people, parents and carers.

  • Work with clinical and Information Governance teams to ensure content is accurate, appropriately reviewed and compliant with healthcare marketing standards.

  • Build and manage a content calendar across organic and paid channels, aligned to key launch milestones.

  • Lead campaign planning and delivery from concept through to launch, evaluating performance and making improvements based on results.

  • Collaborate with Design, Digital and Business Development teams on website, sales and partner-facing content.

  • Apply SEO best practice and audience insight to improve engagement, performance and conversion across the patient journey.

  • Monitor content performance and manage external contributors or freelancers where required, using data to refine content and channel strategy.

  • Manage workload and changing priorities effectively, while participating in supervision, PDR and mandatory training to support ongoing development and compliance.

To succeed as our Content Marketing Manager – Children & Young People, you will have:

Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience in content creation and content marketing, supported by a strong written and/or multimedia portfolio.

  • Experience creating content for children and young people, as well as parents and carers, adapting tone, language and format appropriately.

  • Proven ability to develop and deliver content strategies aligned to measurable business outcomes.

  • Experience managing campaigns from concept and planning through to launch and post-launch evaluation.

  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style across audiences and channels.

  • Experience working with clinical, technical or regulatory experts to translate complex information into clear, accessible content.

  • Confident using content and marketing tools, including CMS, email marketing, SEO and analytics platforms.

  • Highly organised, able to manage multiple content workstreams, deadlines and priorities independently in a remote-first environment.

  • Genuine interest in and sensitivity to neurodiversity, mental health and healthcare communications for children and young people.

  • Strong problem-solving, attention to detail and collaborative working skills.

Desirable Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Experience creating content in a healthcare, mental health, or regulated industry setting.

  • Experience with product or service launches, particularly digital health products or pathways aimed at children and young people.

  • Background in children's or family healthcare, education, or children's publishing/media content.

  • Understanding of accessible and neuro-inclusive content design principles.

  • Experience briefing and managing freelance writers, designers, or video producers.
