CONSULTANT DEVELOPER – GUIDEWIRE INTEGRATION LEAD

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Integration Lead to join a large-scale Guidewire Cloud implementation program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and leading integration solutions across Guidewire applications and external enterprise systems.

This role requires strong hands-on development expertise, technical leadership capabilities, and deep knowledge of Guidewire integration patterns within a Cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the design and development of Guidewire integration solutions.

2. Architect and implement integrations between Guidewire applications and external systems.

3. Develop and support REST APIs, web services, messaging solutions, and event-driven integrations.

4. Provide technical leadership to integration developers and project teams.

5. Review solution designs, code quality, and technical deliverables.

6. Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, Product Owners, and stakeholders to define integration requirements.

7. Ensure scalability, security, performance, and reliability of integration solutions.

8. Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues across environments.

9. Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical design discussions.

10. Support deployment activities and production releases.

11. Ensure adherence to Guidewire Cloud best practices and development standards.

Required Skills & Experience

1. Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire Cloud implementations.

2. Extensive experience in Guidewire Integration Development.

3. Expertise in REST APIs, SOAP services, JSON, XML, and messaging frameworks.

4. Strong understanding of integration architecture and enterprise application integration patterns.

5. Experience working with Guidewire ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, or BillingCenter integrations.

6. Knowledge of Guidewire Cloud Platform and integration best practices.

7. Experience with source control, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile delivery methodologies.

8. Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

9. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Previous experience leading integration workstreams on Guidewire transformation programs.

2. Exposure to insurance domain processes, particularly Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance.

3. Experience working with cloud-native integration solutions and modern API architectures.

4. Familiarity with performance tuning and integration monitoring tools.
