About the Role

TeamFicient is seeking an adaptable, proactive Construction Project Manager / Coordinator to oversee project administration and serve as the central liaison for a General Contracting firm based in Atlanta. Working closely with senior leadership and external consultants, you will act as the primary bridge connecting clients, vendors, and internal field teams to keep projects running on schedule and within budget. This role is ideal for a strong communicator who understands basic construction workflows, excels at vendor coordination, and takes end-to-end ownership of project organization.

Core Responsibilities

Client & Vendor Liaison

  • Serve as the main point of contact between clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams across active project lifecycles.

  • Maintain consistent communication channels to provide project status updates, resolve administrative bottlenecks, and address client inquiries.

  • Coordinate vendor schedules, track lead times, and follow up on deliverable commitments.

Project Coordination & Administration

  • Manage day-to-day project workflows, ensuring paperwork, milestone approvals, and schedule adjustments stay on track.

  • Organize and maintain essential project documentation, agreements, correspondence, and project status logs.

  • Help facilitate handoffs between field personnel, administrative resources, and client stakeholders to ensure continuous momentum.

Workflow & Execution Tracking

  • Monitor task progress, flag risks or delays early, and ensure team members deliver critical action items on time.

  • Prepare project summaries, agendas, and recap reports for leadership review.

Candidate Qualifications

Must-Haves

  • 3+ years of professional experience in project management, project coordination, or high-level project administration.

  • Working knowledge of General Contracting and construction terminology/workflows (direct hands-on trade skills not required, but foundational understanding is essential).

  • Proven track record in client management and vendor coordination.

  • Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills with strong presentation and interpersonal abilities.

  • High proficiency in digital project management platforms, document sharing suites (Google Workspace / Microsoft 365), and task-tracking tools.

  • Ability to work independently during U.S. Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours.

Good to Haves

  • Prior experience supporting General Contractors, Commercial Builders, or Real Estate Development firms.

  • Familiarity with project scheduling tools (e.g., Asana, ClickUp, Smartsheet, Procore, or similar).

  • Experience working directly alongside business management consultants or external project advisors.
