Position Summary

We are seeking SAP Concur Systems Administrator to manage the day-to-day administration, configuration, and support of our SAP Concur platform. This role will help ensure that travel and expense processes operate efficiently, align with company policies, and provide a positive employee experience.

The Concur Systems Administrator will partner with Finance, Accounting, IT, Human Resources, and travel stakeholders to maintain system functionality, resolve issues, improve workflows, and support reporting and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Concur System Administration

  • Administer SAP Concur, including user profiles, access permissions, approval workflows, expense types, and organizational settings.
  • Configure and maintain expense policies, audit rules, reimbursement settings, and accounting allocations.
  • Support employee onboarding, role changes, and offboarding within the platform.
  • Review system updates, assess their impact, and coordinate testing and implementation of relevant changes.
  • Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and change history.

User Support and Training

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Concur questions and support requests.
  • Troubleshoot expense report, approval, reimbursement, and travel booking issues, as applicable.
  • Coordinate with SAP Concur support and internal teams to resolve complex issues.
  • Develop user guides, training materials, and communications that help employees and approvers use the system effectively.

Integrations and Data Quality

  • Monitor integrations and data feeds between Concur and connected systems, including HR, identity management, corporate card providers, and accounting or ERP platforms.
  • Investigate failed imports, exports, and data discrepancies in collaboration with internal teams and vendors.
  • Maintain accurate employee, cost center, project, and general ledger mapping data.
  • Support reconciliation of corporate card transactions and expense data with Accounting.

Reporting, Compliance, and Improvement

  • Create and maintain reports on spending, policy exceptions, outstanding transactions, and approval activity.
  • Support audits by providing system records, reports, and configuration documentation.
  • Maintain system controls that support company travel and expense policies, appropriate access, and segregation of duties.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce manual work, and improve data accuracy.
  • Gather business requirements and coordinate configuration changes, testing, and user communications.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of five plus years of hands-on experience administering SAP Concur, including configuration and user support.
  • Working knowledge of expense reporting, corporate card programs, reimbursement processes, and approval workflows.
  • Experience maintaining user access, expense policies, audit rules, and accounting data within Concur.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to explain system processes clearly to employees with varying levels of technical knowledge.
  • Experience collaborating with Finance, Accounting, IT, and external support teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data validation.
  • Ability to handle confidential employee and financial information with discretion.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Concur Travel, Concur Invoice, or both.
  • Experience with Concur reporting and analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with ERP integrations such as NetSuite, employee data feeds, single sign-on, and corporate card integrations.
  • Experience supporting multiple legal entities, currencies, or international operations.
  • Experience with system implementations, migrations, or significant configuration changes.
  • Relevant SAP Concur training or certifications.

The good faith base salary range for this role is $110,000–$150,000 at the time of this posting. Where you fall within the range depends on your experience, skills, and location. This range reflects base salary only and does not include benefits or bonus/incentive. This range may be adjusted in the future.
