This is a high-impact opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to sharpen their skills while ensuring the integrity of our pharmacy licensure and audit readiness. If you have a passion for pharmacy operations, compliance, and making a tangible impact on organizational risk, we want to hear from you.

The Compliance Coordinator will work across multiple compliance functions, providing flexible support based on evolving team priorities, regulatory deadlines, and business needs. This individual will coordinate projects, maintain accurate documentation, track deliverables, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to help ensure the organization meets pharmacy, payer, PBM, and licensing requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Licensing & Credentialing

  • Support pharmacy licensing activities across multiple states and locations, including initial applications, renewals, change-of-ownership filings, updates, and regulatory notifications.
  • Assist with PBM and payer requirements, including network applications, credentialing, recredentialing, attestations, provider manual reviews, and required notifications.

Audit & Risk Support

  • Monitor renewal dates, regulatory deadlines, corrective actions, and other compliance obligations to ensure timely completion.
  • Support internal and external audits by gathering documentation, organizing evidence, coordinating responses, and tracking remediation activities.
  • Assist with researching pharmacy laws, regulations, licensing requirements, payer requirements, and industry guidance.
  • Maintain and regularly update the departmental risk register to track identified compliance risks.
  • Develop and document risk profiles for operational areas to evaluate compliance vulnerabilities.
  • Track risk mitigation activities and follow up with business partners on corrective actions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with Pharmacy Operations, Legal, Quality, Credentialing, Finance, Technology, and other business partners to complete compliance initiatives.
  • Support policy and procedure development, updates, implementation, and employee communication.
  • Prepare compliance summaries, status reports, meeting materials, and leadership updates.
  • Provide adaptable support across the Risk and Pharmacy Compliance team based on workload, deadlines, audits, regulatory changes, and emerging priorities.
  • Contribute to process-improvement efforts that strengthen accountability, consistency, and compliance oversight.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • One to three years of experience in pharmacy operations, healthcare compliance, PBM or payer operations, licensing, credentialing, quality, audit support, or a related area.
  • Working knowledge of pharmacy practice and the regulatory requirements affecting pharmacy operations.
  • Familiarity with pharmacy and PBM compliance requirements.
  • General understanding of pharmacy licensing requirements and state boards of pharmacy.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining complete, accurate, and confidential records.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, including spreadsheets, shared trackers, and document-management tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting a specialty, mail-order, retail, or multi-state pharmacy organization.
  • Experience coordinating audits, corrective action plans, regulatory submissions, or licensing renewals.
