Your new team

The Communications department will consist of a Communications Director and four Communications Managers, who work as one integrated team. Two managers will primarily focus on internal audiences, two managers will primarily focus on external audiences.

Together, the team creates a balanced communications capability covering internal engagement, leadership communication, culture and change, external reputation, media relations, corporate storytelling and commercial communication.

It’s a collaborative setup where we’ll work both strategically and hands‑on, and you get the opportunity to help shape how the newly formed department develops.

 Your mission

Taking an integrated approach to communications, your focus is geared towards internal audiences.

Your main goal is to support and empower leaders at all levels to communicate effectively, involve their teams, and nurture a positive, transparent culture – especially during periods of change.

You will co-develop the team’s overall internal communications strategy and annual plan, and take ownership of communications projects – especially those with a major internal or change element.

A key part of your role is to help turn company strategy, values, priorities and business changes into clear relevant communication leaders, managers and employees can understand and act on.

You will also develop processes, tools, messaging and content that make internal communication more consistent and effective across the company. This includes  supporting leaders and managers, creating content for internal channels, evolving internal touchpoints and using insights and measurement to continuously improve communication impact.

Here are some of the areas you work with:

·        Coaching leaders, managers and functional teams on change communications.

·        Building processes, tools, best practices and guidelines for effective internal communication.

·        Crafting messaging frameworks and audience-specific messaging.

·        Producing and publishing content across channels for multiple audiences.

·        Collaborating with colleagues across Seco, Sandvik, and external partners.

·        Measuring communication impact and identifying improvements.

·        Managing and evolving key internal touchpoints and channel strategy, such as Viva Engage, intranet and All-Employee Meetings

·        Handling media requests as part of the team’s rota

You combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. You are structured, collaborative and proactive, with the ability to build relationships across functions and lead communication work in a fast-moving environment.

Experience with change management approaches, such as ADKAR, is valuable. Being skilled in both written and verbal English is essential, and you are comfortable using
