Coordinate end-to-end logistics for medical device shipments, ensuring timely delivery for surgical procedures. Manage shipping documentation, monitor real-time transit, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve fulfillment issues.
What You’ll Do:
Coordinate end-to-end logistics for medical device shipments supporting scheduled and urgent surgical procedures
Plan, execute, and track domestic and international shipments of implants, instrument sets, and related materials using carriers, couriers, and 3PL partners
Serve as a primary point of contact for Sales, Customer Service, Distribution, and field teams regarding shipment status, delivery timelines, and issue resolution
Manage urgent, same-day, and expedited shipment requests with speed and accuracy
Create shipping documentation, labels, commercial invoices, and customs paperwork as required for global shipments
Monitor shipments in real time, proactively identify potential delays, and resolve issues before they impact surgical schedules
Coordinate inventory movements between warehouses, hubs, hospitals, and physician offices
Support returns (RMA) processing, product exchanges, and reverse logistics activities
Maintain accurate shipment records and update systems (ERP/CRM) to ensure data integrity and audit readiness
Build and maintain strong working relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless order fulfillment
Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance service levels, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency
What You Bring:
High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
2+ years of experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain coordination (medical device, healthcare, or regulated industry experience strongly preferred)
Experience coordinating time-sensitive shipments and working with carriers such as FedEx, UPS, or specialized medical couriers
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and a customer-service mindset
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards, SAP, or similar preferred)
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation
Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt quickly to changing priorities
Knowledge of basic import/export or customs processes is a plus

Compensation:
Pay for this role is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and performance. The typical pay rate for this position is $72,800.00 annually, with potential for overtime, bonuses, and incentives plus benefits. Final compensation is determined on a case-by-case basis and considers a variety of factors including experience level, skillset, and market conditions.
