The consultant will monitor and ensure consistency in underwriting guidelines through regular audits and the development of training programs. They will also serve as a knowledge resource to other departments and contribute to strategic organizational projects.
Acuity is seeking a Commercial Lines Consultant to monitor and ensure consistency in underwriting guidelines, practices, and philosophy while conducting regular audits and clearly communicating findings. This role supports commercial lines operations through consulting and training, including the development of training materials and leading training programs. The consultant will also serve as a key knowledge resource to other departments, contributing to the enhancement of operations through cross-functional projects and interactions, and helping to guide the overall strategic direction of the organization.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree or extensive direct experience.
EXPERIENCE:
3-5 years experience in commercial multi-line property and casualty underwriting.

This job is classified as exempt.
The salary range for this position is $87,000-$136,000 annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
