Commercial Insurance Underwriter/ Broker

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• Experience in commercial insurance, brokerage, underwriting, or a related role, with a desire to continue developing your expertise.
  
• An understanding of commercial insurance risks and coverage, or the ability and willingness to learn quickly.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate accounts and identify solutions.
  
• Relationship-building skills and an interest in developing long-term retail agency partnerships.
  
• An interest in both underwriting and business development, with the drive to build and grow a profitable book of business.
  
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  
• A proactive, growth-oriented mindset with the initiative to take ownership of your success.
  
• An active Property & Casualty license preferred, or the ability to obtain one.

• You're looking for a traditional desk underwriting role with no production expectations.
