Responsibilities:
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Monitor and record patient vital signs, reporting changes in condition to supervising nursing staff
Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to patients and their families
Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and repositioning to ensure safety and comfort
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
Document patient care activities accurately in accordance with care plans
Collaborate with RNs, LPNs, and other healthcare team members to deliver high-quality patient care
Requirements:
Active CNA certification in the state of Maryland
Previous experience in home care, long-term care, or a related healthcare setting preferred
Strong knowledge of patient care techniques and safety protocols
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Compassionate, patient-centered attitude with a genuine desire to help others
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required
