The Cloud Network Engineer will design, deploy, and manage secure multi-cloud networking infrastructure across AWS, Azure, OCI, and GCP. They are responsible for configuring network security components, troubleshooting complex connectivity issues, and utilizing Terraform for infrastructure automation.
Position Overview
Mission Bridge Partners is partnering with an established federal technology integrator to identify an experienced Cloud Network Engineer to support a large-scale enterprise cloud modernization program for a federal customer.
This is a remote, contract-to-hire opportunity supporting the design, deployment, and ongoing operation of secure, scalable multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, OCI, and GCP environments.
The Cloud Network Engineer will be responsible for cloud networking and security infrastructure, including Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco networking technologies, VPNs, routing, security groups, and virtual cloud networks. This is a hands-on engineering role requiring strong experience with Terraform, cloud networking, network security, and troubleshooting complex enterprise environments.
The ideal candidate combines a strong traditional network engineering background with hands-on experience implementing networking and security infrastructure within modern cloud environments.
What You'll Be Doing
Design, implement, configure, and support networking infrastructure across cloud environments, including Azure, OCI, GCP, and AWS
Deploy and manage cloud networking components including VPCs/VNets, subnets, routing, security groups, VPNs, firewalls, load balancers, and network access controls
Use Terraform to provision and manage cloud infrastructure, including AWS security groups
Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco devices, VPN concentrators, IPsec tunnels, route maps, NACLs, and related network security technologies
Support networking requirements for AWS EKS clusters
Implement cloud network security controls and follow established security and compliance requirements
