Clinical Sales Specialist

Position Summary
Working within the Sales and Marketing division of PBE, the Clinical Sales Specialist acts as a subject matter expert in the management of adult incontinence as it relates to the company's moisture management product line. With a focus on new customer onboarding and retention, this role provides clinical and sales support within assigned market segments to build customer understanding, appreciation, and utilization of PBE's absorbent care products. The Clinical Sales Specialist partners closely with Account Executives to support the customer lifecycle, deliver product education, and drive positive patient and facility outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Contribute to building, executing, and promoting PBE's Clinical Program to achieve desired outcomes of facility-based care.
- Act as a contributing member of an account team through clinical relationship building and support to onboard and retain customers, and contribute to the ongoing customer lifecycle.
- Partner with Account Executives and Regional Sales Managers to retain and grow facility relationships.
- Consult with customers to solve product utilization challenges and develop best practices.
- Utilize nursing assessment skills to evaluate, recommend, and plan facility and patient product needs with the goal of maximizing product benefits and customer, clinician, and patient satisfaction.
- Support and assist product evaluations and trials, including scheduling, coordination, customized project planning, and on-site staff education and training.
- Provide education to all levels of customer staff through demonstrations, presentations, manuals, webinars, and other appropriate teaching methods.
- Represent PBE at industry events to build clinical networks and increase awareness of incontinence management best practices.
- Support writing and research projects in partnership with Marketing, Product Management, and Research and Development as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of account activity, customer interactions, and follow-up actions in CRM systems.
What You'll Need
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related medical or healthcare field required; BSN preferred.
- Minimum of two to three years of clinical or direct patient care experience; experience managing adult incontinence, skin care, or wound care is strongly preferred.
- Experience educating individuals or groups on specific topics, with strong presentation skills and the ability to connect with all levels of a patient care organization.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
- Understanding of the sales lifecycle; experience in or supporting sales environments preferred.
- Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time (local, regional, and national).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, CRM or client recordkeeping systems.
- Proactively builds strategic relationships by seeking clarification, developing ideas, and facilitating agreement.
- Self-motivated and takes initiative, with the ability to act independently and go above and beyond to accomplish objectives.
