Role Description
The Clinical Applications Team Lead, Women’s Health Ultrasound manages their assigned territory while mentoring and supporting the regional Clinical Applications team. This role collaborates closely with the Clinical Leader on daily scheduling, team development, and customer support, and partners with Direct Sales Representatives and Dealer Partners to drive growth for Samsung Women’s Health Ultrasound. Combining technical expertise, leadership, and strategic planning, the Team Lead enhances team performance, improves customer satisfaction, and supports organizational objectives. Acting as a mentor and point of escalation, this leadership position ensures consistent, high-quality clinical application support across the region.
Key duties and responsibilities, other duties may be assigned:
Customer Service, Sales & Marketing Support
- Strategically plan and execute demonstrations and installations that clearly differentiate the product line clinically and technically, while delivering tailored solutions for each customer.
- Persuasively demonstrate and communicate the clinical and operational advantages of the system to end-users, influencing purchasing decisions and driving adoption through consultative selling and expertise.
- Gather and communicate voice-of-customer insights to inform business decisions.
- Provide product performance and user feedback to the Product Management and sales team to align performance and development with market needs.
- Represent the company at scientific meetings and trade shows.
- Maintain clinical responsibilities to AE and customers within their territory.
- Ensure escalation situations are managed and resolved promptly and professionally.
Reporting and Administration
- Assist in providing management clinical metrics that support investment requests and document CAS productivity.
- Responsible for booking travel and filing expense reports in a timely manner.
- Assist in generating Clinical Applications Reports (Monthly/Quarterly activity reports) within region as needed by Clinical Leader.
Customer Site Support
- Respond promptly to customer requests and allocate resources effectively to meet their needs.
- Apply engaging and effective teaching methods to maximize customer satisfaction and ensure optimal product utilization in both clinical and educational settings.
- Assist with basic on-site troubleshooting to resolve service-related issues quickly.
- Serve as a strategic liaison for the local team, supporting high-level demonstrations and competitive installations within the region.
Conduct & Personal Development
- Maintain current knowledge in relevant clinical and technical fields.
- Represent the company professionally and maintain a positive attitude.
- Complete all required training courses and maintain all required certifications.
- Gain comprehensive knowledge of the company’s product portfolio and competitor offerings to effectively position and promote our solutions.
- Manage time effectively and make sound business decisions.
- Follow all company policies regarding travel, expenses, and equipment handling.

Education & Experience
- BA/BS preferred, RDMS required, Fetal Echo registry preferred.
- 5-10 years of clinical ultrasound experience in MFM, Ob/Gyn and Fetal Echo applications required.
- Skilled in 2D, 3D and Color Doppler across applications.
- Experience supporting Women’s Health Commercial Market.
- Prior commercial experience as a Clinical Applications Specialist preferred.
- Strong market knowledge and competitive mindset.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to perform clinical and product training to all levels of customers.
- Strong leadership, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and presentation skills required.
- Must be self-driven to optimize performance without the need for extensive supervision.
Computer & Analytical Skills
- Must be excellent with technology, able to present using a laptop and able demonstrate proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet Explorer, and Google Chrome

Physical Requirements
- Regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- Often required to Push/pull weights of over 100 pounds when setting up/dismantling trade shows and/or maneuvering Company equipment into place for display.
- Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear
- Must be able to sit and/or drive for long periods of time when traveling
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time (8-15 hours) for multiple days
