Description

A Clinical Applications Specialist (CAS) is responsible for consulting, training, and supporting Oncology professionals in the effective use of Elekta Software & Hardware.

Responsibilities include remote, on-site, classroom training and remote support. Independently deliver education on Elekta products to new and existing sites. Understand new workflow processes to maximize efficiencies of the Elekta offering. Manage all site preparation and documentation of onsite education per established guidelines.

Provide assistance to the Elekta support team pertaining to escalated customer calls. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Elekta products and service policies and procedures; utilize appropriate escalation procedure as needed. CAS will also be responsible for capturing customer needs relating to training and/or product performance and should communicate openly and effectively with Product and Project management Teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive application training for customers on software and hardware solutions.
• Identify additional training requirements and develop follow-up training plans to ensure optimal clinical utilization of products and solutions.
• Provide professional assistance with clinical application support cases and actively contribute to Service Delivery to ensure that customer expectations are exceeded.
• Ensure that customer requests are handled in a timely and professional manner in accordance with contractual obligations.
• Maintain long-term positive relationships with customers acting upon customer feedback to elevate Customer Satisfaction
• Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through customer assessments, performance reviews, and feedback analysis, ensuring continuous improvement in learning outcomes.
• Support Marketing/Sales activities at pre-sales stage and at exhibitions, conferences, trade shows, user meetings, and seminars, when required.
• Act as a conduit between customers and product development.

Relevant Knowledge, skills and competencies

• Master's degree in medical physics and minimum five years experience with clinical Radiation Oncology required.
• Strong clinical background in Radiation Therapy and working knowledge of clinical workflow.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French are essential.
• Excellent presentation skills (ability to communicate effectively to a group)
• Ability to effectively interact with customers (via phone, email and face-to-face)
• Must be culturally aware.
• Familiarity with adult education, curriculum development process and educational methodology preferred.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 75% of the time.
• Experience with the following: Microsoft Office, Citrix and CLM systems, where applicable
• Must be able to travel as needed for the business (up to 75%)
• Clinical experience with Elekta hardware and software is highly preferred.
• Computer literacy, IT knowledge are highly preferred.
• Regional market knowledge preferred.
