As a Clinical Administrative Coordinator, you will be part of a care management team who will manage complex members.  You will support the clinical team in assignment of new members to the clinical team, implementation of member care plans and coordination of member care needs.

This position is full - time (40 hours / week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7am to 5pm.  It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. This position is a remote-based position with a home-based office.

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Provide administrative support for field-based care teams
  • Receive and process electronic referral requests for care management services
  • Utilize phone system to respond to and transfer calls to appropriate individuals
  • Ask callers standard questions to understand requests, gather necessary information, and assess urgency
  • Perform member assignment in clinical system and set up case, monitor work queues and act on requests
  • Process correspondence; mail, fax, email
  • Create a positive experience and relationship with the members
  • Practice cultural sensitivity and cultural competence in daily care

Required Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1+ years of experience in an office using the telephone and computer as the primary instruments to perform the job duties, OR customer service experience analyzing and solving customer's problems
  • 1+ years of experience with MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Designated workspace inside the home with access to high-speed internet availability
  • Ability to travel locally up to 10%25 of the time
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Experience working in managed care
  • Experience working in team-based care
  • Knowledge of Medicaid and/or Medicare population
  • Proven ability to navigate a PC to open applications, send emails, and conduct data entry
  • Proven ability to remain stationary for long periods of time to complete computer or tablet work duties
  • Proven ability to communicate via phone and email

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $18.00 to $32.00 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
