Aderant is seeking a Client Engagement Manager. 

 

Role Description: 

The Client Engagement Manager is responsible for leading the implementation and deployment of the company's software solutions at client sites. This role involves managing project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful software installations, configurations, and integrations. The Implementation Manager collaborates closely with clients, project teams, and various internal departments to achieve project goals and ensure client satisfaction. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the planning and execution of software implementation projects, including defining project scope, objectives, and timelines. 

  • Develop project plans, resource allocation, and budgeting in collaboration with cross-functional teams. 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the implementation phase, understanding their requirements, expectations, and business objectives. 

  • Conduct regular meetings and communication sessions with clients to provide updates, gather feedback, and address concerns. 

  • Manage the technical aspects of software implementation, including system configurations, data migrations, integrations, and customizations. 

  • Coordinate with development teams, technical consultants, and third-party vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth deployment. 

  • Oversee testing activities to validate software functionality, performance, and integration with existing systems. 

  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the implementation lifecycle. 

  • Develop and deliver training programs for client end-users to promote effective use of the software and maximize user adoption. 

  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting post-implementation, addressing user inquiries and optimizing system performance. 

  • Create comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, technical specifications, and user guides. 

  • Prepare and present project updates, performance metrics, and lessons learned to stakeholders and management. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). 

  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in project management or software implementation, preferably in a client-facing role within a software company. 

  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), software deployment methodologies, and best practices. 

  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management. 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and resolve conflicts. 

  • Experience with CRM, ERP, or other enterprise software implementations is highly desirable. 

  • Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) or Agile methodologies are a plus.
