Children's Book Illustrator

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented digital illustrator to recreate and refine existing AI-generated illustrations for multiple children's book projects.

The client will provide the original artwork and specific instructions. The primary responsibility is to faithfully reproduce these images at professional print quality, making requested adjustments while maintaining consistency with the supplied reference artwork.

This is a production-focused illustration role rather than a creative concept development position.

Key Responsibilities

• Recreate AI-generated children's book illustrations as accurately as possible.
  

• Refine artwork to achieve clean, high-quality, print-ready results.
  

• Make specific adjustments based on client feedback.
  

• Maintain consistency in characters, colors, proportions, and overall visual style.
  

• Prepare final illustrations at the dimensions, resolution, and file formats required for professional printing.
  

• Manage multiple illustrations across several children's book projects.
  

• Organize completed files and meet agreed project deadlines.
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience in digital illustration, artwork recreation, or graphic design.
  

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Procreate, or comparable professional illustration software.
  

• Strong attention to detail and ability to reproduce reference images accurately.
  

• Understanding of print production requirements, including resolution, sizing, and file preparation.
  

• Ability to follow detailed instructions and incorporate revisions.
  

• Strong time management and organizational skills.
  

• Children's book illustration or publishing experience is preferred.
