The COO will lead the commercial and operational direction of the studio, focusing on scaling the business and building strategic relationships with operators and platforms. They will work closely with the leadership team to drive product launches, distribution, and overall market growth.
iGaming Slot Studio | Europe | Remote / Flexible Location
We’re looking for a commercially sharp, highly connected Chief Operating Officer to join a fast-growing European slot game studio.
This isn't a role for someone who simply knows iGaming. We need someone who knows slots.
You’ve worked within a studio creating real-money slot games, understand how the supplier side of the industry works, and have a strong network across operators, aggregators, platforms and other key industry partners.
You might already be a COO. Or you could be a high-performing Commercial Director, CCO, Head of Operations, Managing Director or similar who has done exceptionally well and is ready for the next step.
What matters most is that you understand the business, have the network and credibility to make things happen, and can get into the role running.
As COO, you'll work closely with the leadership team and have a major influence on how the company grows, operates and positions itself in the market.
This is a hands-on position in a lean, ambitious environment. You'll be expected to switch comfortably between strategy, commercial discussions, partnerships, negotiations and the practical realities of running and scaling a game studio.
You'll help turn opportunities into action and make sure the commercial and operational sides of the business move together.
Taking a key role in the overall commercial and operational direction of the studio
Building and developing relationships with operators, aggregators, platforms and strategic partners
Leading high-level commercial discussions and negotiations
Using your network to create new opportunities and strengthen the studio's position in the market
Working closely with product, commercial and leadership teams around launches, distribution and growth
Improving processes and helping the company scale without creating unnecessary corporate layers
Identifying opportunities, problems and bottlenecks before they become obvious
Representing the company at industry events, partner meetings and conferences
Travelling regularly across Europe and internationally when required
Being someone the founders and wider team can rely on to take ownership and get things done
Slot studio experience is essential.
You should have:
Strong experience working for a real-money online slot/game studio
A genuine understanding of slot games, studios and the wider supplier ecosystem
An established network within the iGaming industry
Strong commercial instincts and exceptional negotiation skills
Experience dealing directly with operators, aggregators, platforms and/or other strategic partners
A track record of performing extremely well in your current or previous role
The ability to operate independently and take ownership without needing a huge corporate structure around you
The confidence to work with senior executives, founders and external partners
The ability and willingness to travel frequently
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
And personality matters.
We're looking for someone likeable, credible, energetic and commercially switched on. Someone who genuinely loves the industry, enjoys talking about games, builds relationships naturally and can negotiate hard without damaging those relationships.
We're very open to someone taking the next step in their career.
If you've built an impressive track record within a slot studio, developed a strong network and reached the point where you're ready for significantly more ownership, we'd like to hear from you.
We're more interested in what you've actually achieved than whether you already have “COO” on your LinkedIn profile.
We're flexible across European locations.
The role can be structured remotely, but this is not a stay-at-home executive position. Regular travel for partner meetings, industry events and time with the team will be an important part of the role.
This is an opportunity to join an ambitious studio at a stage where your decisions, relationships and ideas can genuinely influence where the business goes next.
There is already a strong foundation in place. We're looking for someone who can come in, understand the business quickly, build on what's working and help take it to the next level.
If you're passionate about slots, know the supplier side of iGaming inside out, and feel ready to take on broader ownership, we'd love to talk.
