Job Description

ServiceNow's Employee Experience Business Unit transforms how employees get work done in the agentic era — with a world-class, employee-centric harness that resolves IT and HR requests, enables frontier AI capabilities within enterprise governance guardrails, and is bringing to market the next-generation of AI productivity assistants. The EX BU is the result of ServiceNow’s acquisition of Moveworks in late 2025 and its unification with the HR Service Delivery portfolio. The business is now in hypergrowth and represents one of the most exciting growth environments in enterprise AI. 

The GVP of Moveworks Sales owns delivery of the Employee Experience revenue target – and is seeking a Chief of Staff to act as a critical strategy partner, senior operator, and right hand. This role comes with a mandate to define and own the strategic and operating outcomes that directly drive BU performance for one of ServiceNow's most strategic bets. 

What you'll own 

• Operating metrics, end to end. Specialist ramp-to-productivity, bundle attach rate, pipeline coverage by segment, and specialist productivity. You are accountable for moving these numbers, not just reporting on them. 
• Specialist sales as a growth engine. Talent bar, onboarding, ramp math, and territory design as a continuous discipline rather than an annual planning exercise. 
• Sales play design and adoption. Work closely with GTM specialists to translate our portfolio strategy into plays that Specialist and Core AEs can land with customers. 
• Operating cadence. Design forecast calls, pipeline reviews, QBRs, and leadership staff inside the EX BU, plus the interlocks with core sales and product leadership. Tee up and drive decision making with senior leaders, rather than status updates. 
• Cross-functional dependencies that determine the number. Hold the standing relationships with Product, Marketing, Business Value, Enablement, and Customer Success. Represent the Sales point of view with authority to enable cross-functional leaders to act in tight coordination with our revenue priorities. 
• Executive narrative. Own the strategic narrative and supporting analysis for executive staff and board forums — with a defensible point of view on what we need to learn from the data. 

What success looks like in 12 months 

• Core sales leaders and AEs engaged with EX portfolio as a customer priority 
• Faster productivity ramp for our Specialist Sales, with a repeatable onboarding motion, playbook, business value case, and assets that clearly reflect our strategic priorities (e.g., key offerings, sales plays) 
• Product, marketing, and CS commitments sequenced against the sales plan, with dependencies surfaced early enough to act on 
• The GVP spends materially more time with customers and core leaders, with strategic clarity on the 2-3 ‘big rocks’ that need to progress at any given time 

What this role is not 

This is not an executive assistant, a program manager, or a deck builder – if you need permission to take action, this role will frustrate you. Similarly, this role extends far beyond strategy frameworks and requires a willingness to deeply understand product tradeoffs, competitive dynamics, deal economics, and engage with customers. 

Qualifications

What you bring 

• Top-tier management consulting experience; MBA preferred 
• Operating experience inside a large technology company, ideally enterprise software/AI 
• Go-to-market strategy experience, ideally with expertise representing a specialist sales unit / team 
• Startup exposure or comparable muscle — comfort operating quickly with incomplete information 
• Strong commercial instincts and fluency with data: you can build the model, find the insight, and defend the conclusion 
• Executive presence and ability to build credibility with senior leaders, and the judgment to push back when it matters 

Location & travel 

• Remote, Major US Metro
• Nice to have: Eastern Time Zone based given the location of GVP
• Approximately monthly travel for customer meetings, leadership offsites, and planning sessions

For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $192,000 - $300,000 plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs.  Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
