Position 1: Chief Cook

Position 2: Messman
Experience: 0–2 Years

Role Summary
The Messman assists the Chief Cook in daily galley operations while maintaining cleanliness of the galley, dining areas, and accommodation spaces to ensure a hygienic and comfortable environment for the crew.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve meals to crew members.
- Assist with food preparation and galley operations.
- Clean the galley, mess room, and accommodation areas.
- Wash utensils, kitchen equipment, and cooking tools.
- Assist with stock handling, storage, and inventory organization.
Requirements
Requirements - Chief Cook
- 2–5 years of experience as a Ship Cook or Chief Cook.
- Knowledge of international cuisine and meal planning.
- Strong organizational, catering, and hygiene management skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain high-quality food standards.
Requirements - Messman
- 0–2 years of relevant experience (freshers with basic catering or housekeeping knowledge may apply).
- Basic knowledge of housekeeping and catering practices.
- Good hygiene standards and teamwork skills.
- Physically fit for shipboard duties.
