Terms: Full-time, Contract (12 Months)

Salary (CAD): $58,700 – $69,000 (Commensurate with experience)

This salary range reflects the expected starting salary based on qualifications and experience. This is not the full salary range for the position. Opportunities for growth within the full salary range are available in alignment with organizational policies and individual / organizational performance. The offer package provided to the successful candidate will be based on experience, qualifications and other relevant factors.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Certification Coordinator works within the Accreditation Canada team and is responsible for the planning and coordination of compliance assessment visits for private seniors’ residences (RPA) and addiction treatment residences (RHD).

Reporting to the Program Manager, the incumbent plays a key role in providing administrative and logistical support, contributing to the successful delivery of certification activities.

The position ensures the efficient planning of visits, the management of administrative information, and the updating of tracking tools, while maintaining the accuracy and quality of data. The coordinator also acts as a resource person for surveyors and residence operators regarding visit organization and administrative processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate certification visits, including preparing and managing calendars.
  • Organize the logistical aspects of visits (scheduling surveyors, assignments, coordination and administrative follow-ups).
  • Enter, update, and validate data in internal systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain and update tracking tools (calendars, dashboards, review documents, internal files).
  • Respond to inquiries from residence operators regarding visit planning, administrative requirements, and required documentation.
  • Collaborate with surveyors and internal teams to support smooth operations and adherence to timelines.
  • Prepare administrative documents and tracking reports (visit lists, progress status, etc.).
  • Contribute to the improvement of administrative tools and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Support the maintenance of effective relationships with partners, with a strong service-oriented approach.

Must Have Qualifications:

  • College diploma in administration, office technology, management, or another relevant field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Two (2) to four (4) years of experience in administrative coordination or logistical support.
  • Excellent command of French (spoken and written).
  • Proficiency with computer tools, particularly Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Good understanding of structured and regulated environments (an asset).
  • Good command of English (spoken and written).
